Yeah, I have thought about that but I'm not sure if I could build anything much more complex than I already am. It has taken me several attemps to improve the smoothness and sturdiness of my gears and even then they are still not perfect.

I do have some ideas for some different parts I think I can manage such as sliding parts or empty gears.

The gears are 3D printed and take 1 to 3.5 hours depending on size. I then attach them onto a board of plywood and the painting takes between a week or two depending on the subject matter and size.
