Somebody in the comments mentioned something. Iris's book says that Harker died in the fire.

But here Mayor Osgood says something that indicates he survived.

:stare:

Whatever's wrong with Broodhollow, it goes a lot deeper than what we've figured out already.

Also an oubliette is basically a dungeon-hole you drop prisoners into and forget about. Generally it was designed to be a small, high cell that tapered to a trapdoor at the top.

Can't think of any other sealed underground places where forgotten things reside in this comic, nope.

I wonder how that pattern is related to the hole dream phenomenon? I wonder who's drawing it?

I'm not entirely sure if this is going to turn out to be Zane dreaming of horrifying imploding people some more or Zane thinking he's dreaming of horrifying imploding people and it's not a dream :unsmigghh:

Until now the good doctor has been operating under the assumption that Zane is mentally ill (technically true) and that nothing supernatural is going on. That theory lost a bit of credibility just now. Welcome to Broodhollow doc :v:

So, is the Society in on this or just the forgetful descendants of the people involved? Are those little stick-figures tally-marks or what? I wonder if those runes actually translate to anything when you change the font? Why is Cadavre here? What is the significance of the suspended glowing rocks? What the general hell :stare:
