So in Avengers Alliance 2 (aka grinding? We'll give you grinding!) they introduced a pack that cost 20 gold which gave you two Legendary cells, a bunch of other resources....And 50 gold. So once you have enough gold to buy one pack, you can essentially buy an infinite number of them. Kind of a nice thing to do to let you finish out the game. And get yourself MODOK.

So what are people blowing their resources on? I've just been buying the costumes I'd not bought before, so I finally have modern Sif, Prussian Star Lord and Black Suit and ASM spider-man. It makes me sad so many characters never got a alt costume, or some were stuck with a single event one. Never got a classic Spiral or X-force X-23, NOW Magneto or Yellowjacket Hank Pym.

How do you do that? It looks like any attempts to ask for help lead to broken pages. As far as alt costumes, I got the old-school Iron Man and the Worldbreaker Hulk. I don't know why I'm still not pulling the trigger on Black Costume Spidey. I've had him in the FF costume forever because I'm glad they made it. I would have liked a Mr. Knight costume for Moon Knight. I'm always a little annoyed they based his mechanics off the Bendis run which I frankly dont rate at all. Turned out fine eventually to be fair, with his specialist iso hes loving brutal, but I just dont like that period of his comics. Honorable mention to the sarari jacket Wonder Man and west coast avengers purple Jumpsuit for Hank Pym that I would have liked. Honestly I'm not blowing the gold/CP on anything. I have every character in the game, and I've set myself the (easily accomplished) task of getting them all to level 10 before the game wraps up. And by easily accomplished, its Adam Warlock at lvl 5, White Tiger at 8 and Phylla-Vell at 9. With 652 CP and 774 gold I could probably get most of the decent costumes in the game, but then I'd have to iso them and I really cant be arsed.

I actually got the last costumes in the game a couple weeks before the announcement that it would be ending, I just spent CP on costumes whenever I got over 800 or so. I'm just working on getting everyone to 15 before it ends- White Tiger's training for 15 now, just have Phyla and Warlock to finish off. Could probably do it with the gold I have right now but might as well finish it off right.

The list of alt-costumes I wish we got is too long to even recount! But I used all dat gold to buy a zillion lockboxes and get all the characters I missed--Magneto, Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Omega Sentinel, Constrictor, and Moonstone.

Yea, it was weird that Wonder Man never got his iconic outfit. I also wanted to get NOW costumes for Emma and Magik. A Classic Wasp, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, the Current Spider-Woman costume, ANAD Wolverine, Fraction Hawkeye, Juggernaut Colossus, Jaime Alexander Sif, NOW Scarlet Witch, White Vision, Comic versions of the Warriors Three, and Infinity War era Drax and Gamora. I'm sad we never got Jubilee most of all, but I'd have loved to of seen Namor, Sunspot, Hulkling, Wiccan, Ms America, Boom Boom, Monica Rambeau, and of course, Quinten Quire. Also too bad we never got a playable Nebula, Sebastian Shaw or the remaning Sinister 6. Like couldn't get Green Goblin or Doc Ock?

My goal in this game has pretty much always been collecting the characters and maxing them. In 36 hours, I'll have all the characters at max level, which is what I decided I'd try to do when I read that the game was shutting down. I don't have anything else to do but check in in a day and a half to complete the final training. It's been fun, guys. Weird to think that I played this game for 4 years.

I really want to max them all out, too, but I have 62 characters at 14 waiting for Silver and I don't know how I'll do it without a massive influx of it. I did just buy Black Costume Spidey and Super Fire-Bird Phoenix. Because I've got nothing else to do with CP.

Is there any sort of known issue with Chapter 2, Level 11, Mission 1? I'm trying to plow through everything before the game dies, and on that one there are two red fights that don't load properly. They let me choose any three people, agent or not, but no matter who I pick (even with the agent) they just go to a black screen

Changing the language helps. Fight the Worthy in Turkish! I too went and picked up all the characters. One thing I noticed is that they really slapped down the use of mutants, and the Fantastic Four. Cannonball's recruitment speech mentioned Sunspot, and Sabretooth was recruited with a freaking bomb in his head threatening to kill the Agent. Those other shoes didn't drop. And, of course, we just had the big Incursion finale without Reed or Victor.

In the beginning, from what I can tell, lockboxes held villains who had at least fought on the side of heroes for a significant part of their career. Then that went out the window, at least by the time Kraven came out.
