I'm taking a pass. It's... Inferno. I've even already got Hot Spot and Pyra Magna. Buying the same mold again for a character I didn't even care much about in the first place doesn't appeal.

(I will be jumping on the rest of the Terrorcons when they show up, so it's not like I'm ignoring the wave entirely.)

I was told that TFC Toys' Poseidon is back in stock. I feel if I buy it, Hasbro will definitely put out an updated version promptly two months after.

Do you think the Dinobots should be fun lumps of giant awesome bullshit with more option parts than you can shake a stick at and fire swords that double as flamethrowers for their mouths?

Holy crap. You could cram like three of the PotP Dinobots into one of those.

POTP is an easy pass for me... I only really need the Dinobots. Abominus too, but that's it. I ended up getting Dreadwind and Darkwing when they were 10% off, they are surprisingly good retools, very nice in hand. And the legends too, I got them but they don't count because I'm already completing the minibots anyway and BattleTrap is once in a lifetime. I'll get the girls when I can too, you still don't get that many fembots... But that's it. POTP is an easy pass.

The only figures I'm not planning on getting are Inferno (because I've already got Pyra Magna and Hot Spot) and Optimus Primal (because kinda expensive).

On a personal note, I wish they used the gaps in the last of Wave 4 so that I could finish off the Scavengers. Just need Spinister, Fulcrum and Crankcase. (Although it would possibly be a hard sell for Fulcrum to just turn into a bomb. I definitely want Spinister, though. I would even take YET ANOTHER ALPHA BRAVO retool.)

I've never really liked movie or Prime Bumblebees. The whole reason he was prominent enough to remember and use a feature character was because he was a little tiny robot that could plausibly interact with little tiny humans, and then the movies make him big and built like a gorilla for god knows why.

Because Bay decided that the robot mode had to be proportional to vehicle mode. Mass displacement? In our giant robots from space movie? Laws, no.

I do wish they hadn’t cut the bit where Cogman turns into a Headmaster and took control of Nitro Zeus, then their toys would have had an actual payoff.

Here's what I'm thinking (since Hasbro is creatively bankrupt)

One series that is set during the cartoon and up to the original film.
One series set after that so they can use the post film cast(but hahahahaha time travel crossover!).
A Bumblebee book.
A Windblade book.
A cross-Hasbro team book again because clearly those are working out for them. A series set in the new film universe.

And absolutely no Thundercracker because gently caress you Rhyno you don't get to have the things you love.

I might be okay with a Windblade book, but it feels like at best it would be good in spite of things.
