 Does anyone remember the poorly thought out secessionist movement floated around, where the more Conservative parts would form their own state free from the Left-Wing influences of the rest of the state? Never mind how those places would survive without the water pumped in to them from Northern California (and how Hispanic immigration means those places would go Blue in five years anyway). This oughta be in the OP, it's the national anthem of California.
