Hi! I'm looking forward to understanding more about this concept of 'cheap airfare'. Not only is it practical, but it's interesting as hell. I've booked a trip to Vegas for my wife's 30th birthday. Trip dates are now set in stone unfortunately, but it would be interesting to see if I could have done better than $424/person. (Full disclose... fares were in the $360s about 45-60 days ago. I should of booked then...) •Origin: ATL •Destination: LAS •Duration of trip with dates: Aug 11 - 15th, 2013. 5 days, 4 nights. •Flexibility: None now, but hypothesize on +/- 1 day. I'd be open to one stop, but it depends on the lay over time and cost savings. (Cost/benefit), as you said. As a general rule, I'm sensitive to take off times. I don't want to leave ATL at 9pm and burn a day of vacation time by getting to vegas at 10pm. Same on the return. I don't want to leave Vegas at 6am.
