My cube (~540 cards, powered) http://cubetutor.com/viewcube/1278

Still in the process of updating the list that's on cubetutor, missing some changes from around Dragon's Maze. Ideally my cube will be 541 cards after some rebalancing (the extra card is Booster Tutor, which gets cut if we were to have a full 12 players).

I've had the cube together for almost two years now, get to draft it about once every week or two.

edit: And for extra fun, cube pictures as of March http://imgur.com/a/Y41NC
Hopefully I'll be able to get new pictures together some time in the next few weeks.

Booster Tutor is one of the best cards to have in a cube ever.

Yeah, the "booster" usually is 15 random undrafted cards, and almost always involves the caster yelling "Boooooster Tuuuutor". It's dumb on Isochron Scepter too.

Man, Im not sure how to accomplish it, but I sure wish the bots on Cube Tutor drafted even somewhat competently. I should not be getting a pack 1 pick 3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor.

My last draft included Pick 4 Jitte, Pick 6 Lotus

This seems even more powered than a normal powered cube. I'm a bit surprised by the lack of Tolarian Academy, Academy Rector, Cabal Coffers, and Crop Rotation, though.

The obvious cards to add from Dragon's Maze would be Aetherling and Voice of Resurgence, I guess?

Oh yeah, to clarify the Dragon's Maze changes have been made, the cubetutor list just isn't updated yet. Aetherling, Voice, and Ral Zarek are in, Far//Away is being tried, and Pyrewild Shaman got put in, but I'm not too wild on him.

Academy had been in, was cut, and is now back as I've added more support for the artifact deck. Crop Rotation is probably going to get another run in the near future, as it was cut for lack of people playing it.

I'm not sure how I feel about Academy Rector and Cabal Coffers. I don't feel like there's enough of a mono-black focus to dedicate to Coffers/Magus of the Coffers/Urborg as a package.

The powerful enchantment strategy off of Academy Rector seems too narrow to me so I've never included it, but what would you go with as the enchantment pieces?

Currently Plow Under is under scrutiny.

I could never let go of Plow Under from my list. It's partially from a pet card standpoint (and there's a dumb story involving the foil version I've got), but from a pure gameplay perspective the finisher of potential-double-time walk is too much for me to pass up

EDIT: Also since when was Venser, Shaper Savant not cube material any more? Dude has one of the coolest abilities written, he's like remand or boomerang on a man, what more can you ask for?

I totally love Venser in cube. I can't imagine not having him in there. Plus he's a part of the Karakas/Riptide Laboratory/Crystal Shard shenanigans package.

Correct. I prefer the KMC Matte sleeves, as they shuffle a bit more easily. Also, I've got a few double-faced cards in my cube, so I can't run light colored sleeves like that.

Although there are some new KMC Hyper Matte sleeves, has anyone tried those out yet? I'm tempted to resleeve the cube early to give them a shot.

Oh man a double sleeved cube would be huge though. I guess it depends what kind of cards are in it and how paranoid you are.

I've got a 540 card cube (+200 lands, and tokens) and it all fit in a holiday box with some extra space before, but that thing can really pack the cards in. Unfortunately, the top started falling apart a few months into using that, so I've gone back to a wooden wine box to hold it, but I need to ultimately get something sturdier.

My cube is also foiled out at this point, so the paranoia more than offsets the size inconvenience.

You can cube draft with other players on tappedout.net ...but the interface is much worse than CubeTutor's is.

On another note, have people seen this guy yet: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=151220&d=1389934931?

That card is outrageous, and I can't wait to cube it.

That's the first (only?) card from Born of the Gods so far that has jumped out as an instant include in my cube. Fake Searing Blaze is tempting since I'm still running Searing Blaze, but nothing else has jumped out at me.

Time to share some pictues. After fifteen months of nonstop trading, IT'S DONE! The last cards came in the mail today, as did my massive box of sleeves. I decided to take pictures for insurance purposes, since carrying around a $4000 box of cards is inherently risky, but I thought I'd share it here. This was a solo cube, so I'm pretty proud of getting this done in just over a year, most of which was spent unemployed (which left tons of times to make proxies to trade away).

CUBE PORN!!

Congrats on getting it all together, it's looking nice. This reminds me that I need to get around to taking more recent pictures of mine, I like the binder page set-up, it's much neater than the pictures I took last year back on the first page of this thread.

Do you just have them unsleeved for photos while in the binder, or do you play it in clear sleeves?

Hey fellas, figured I'd drop by and get some feedback on the cube I've been putting together.

Cube is largely rooted in its original designs borrowed from our very own whitewolf123, although a number of changes have been made to it over time. A major notable is the seemingly odd number: 465. The reason for this is to support two pet cards I've got in the cube - namely Stocking Tiger and Booster Tutor. While it's unlikely we'd have enough folks playing to tap out the entirety of card pool in a draft, I wanted to make certain that if we do get a larger group going, or do something like sealed, that these cards would always have something to hit, since it's always fun to dig into more cards.

Anyway, any and all feedback would be appreciated, I've not nearly the experience as many of you here do.

How has Stocking Tiger been working out for you? I run Booster Tutor and love having it in there (my cube is at 541, so Booster Tutor can be excluded on the odd case of fully using the cube). I'm just not sure that I really like the headache involved with a 3/3 for 5 that throws a full-pack at a player on the odd chance it hits.

Of course, there was the time a guy got Booster Tutor on an Isochron Scepter, so adding a ton of cards is still quite possible anyway.

Ever had someone put it on an Isochron Scepter? I have, and it was awesome, but that person went through so many cube packs after that.

The last two years I've had my cube in the regular matte sleeves (blue, then black). They accumulate some grime on the front, but it was never bad. Just resleeved the whole thing in hyper matte this time, and I'm hopeful for them. Potomac Distribution is totally the way to go.

Also there's nothing better than how great cards look in fresh perfect size/outer sleeves.

I can't imagine trying to foil out a cube now. I lucked out and managed to hit the tail end of legacy/modern foils being anything approaching "reasonable" when I decided to foil out my 540 cube. And even then it was $300 goyf/jtms and $200 rishadan port, which is only reasonable because the prices have just jumped.

But even with it being fully foiled now, I'm using CE power/duals, because that poo poo would be absurd to get otherwise. All the dumb $40-$80 cards really get annoying though

Yeah, I'll bring mine to a couple regular shops, but for obvious reasons will usually only run it with people I know (and in some cases people they vouch for). I'm a lot less likely to bring it to a higher traffic shop though.
