The absolutely astounding fight scene between Jackie Chan and Benny the Jet in Wheels on Meals is probably in my top 3 favourite martial arts sequences ever. It's right up there with the main guy going berserk and killing an entire evil kung fu school in the finale of Mantis Fist Fighter.

Unfortunately I can only find the second half of the fight on youtube. Godammit. Well you should watch the whole movie anyway because it's magnificent.

The finale from Thundering Mantis (also called Mantis Fist Fighter for some reason) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynsuaBPDFvo

One of the zanniest final battles in any movie I've ever seen. Basically, the evil grandmaster of an eagle claw school tortures and murders the main dude's best friend. What happens afterwards? Why, the protagonist loving loses his godamned mind and absolutely murders the poo poo out of everyone until he finally has a showdown with his nemesis, beats the gently caress out of him, kills him, and EATS HIM

Last fight sequence from Shaolin Intruders. It's loving great: excellent choreography, dope wire work, and it gets progressively more ridiculous as it goes along.

Last Hurrah For Chivalry

Last Hurrah for Chivalry is a story about two killers for hire. The two assassins are master swordsmen with no allegiance. They decide to help out a local merchant, seeking revenge against a kungfu master. The plot contains multiple twists of deception, leaving characters wondering who to really trust.

This was one of John Woo's early films! And one of my fav kung fu movies as well. It was cool to see Woo go back to his roots with Reign of Assassins from a few years ago, which was a really great wuxia flick with some fantastic choreography.

There was a 40 or 50 minute documentary released in 90/91/92 (can't quite remember) called The Best of the Martial Arts Films. I've never been able to track this thing down anywhere. Does anyone know if it ever got a DVD release maybe?

I'm looking for more ludicrous fight sequences like this one from Holy Weapon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPVi8y0_s2s
