After Quack's last Chikara appearance at WrestleCon, he was "fired" from Chikara by Wink Vavasseur. The only involvement he had in the storyline leading up to Chikara's closure was he gave Sabato the "controversial" photo that was tweeted out. (A photo later proven to be Photoshopped.)

Quack changed his Twitter bio to remove wrestler, and he hasn't given any statements about it.

One of the going theories about Chikara's closure is that he's getting divorced from his wife, and that she got the rights to Chikara out of it, so out of spite, he shut it down. But then, it seems to be A Thing to circulate dubious stories about Quack's sperglord nerdrage, so that may or may not be true.
