I have what, after some research, turns out to be a Plantronics Gamecon 1. It's old as heck but it's free and sounds good. My question is, how good is it compared to newer sets? If I knew there was a large increase in quality I would be willing to buy something new. Something new would pref. be the same sort of design (Over ear, just used at home.)

Sean_Miller posted:I just got some HD650 Sennheisers at a yard sale for $50. The old lady told me her grandson owned them and shes going through his room after he passed (suicide). I'm worried they may be cursed though. All the better to own then. Trip report on any spirits that try and contact you through them.

Is there anything in the 60-100 dollar price range that would be better then set of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106069 that I got for free? I was going to go shoppin' but then I got these. Over ear, circumaurel if possible I just use these at home. Isolation is good because it's a noisy home. Looking for a good 150-200 dollar set of gaming headphones- not a headset, already have a good mic. Well, unless that's the only choice. Would love surround sound but I don't know if that's just a gimmick or not with headphones. Big, comfy, over ear would be great. No wacky USB surround dongles is my only thing to avoid. E: will format this properly when I have a proper keyboard in front of me, it also appears some good recommendations are on this page. SRQ fucked around with this message at 11:32 on Jan 7, 2016 |
