I've been reading traces of this in stories about Association Football racism. Black players like Balotelli are running into rampant racism across Europe when visiting other stadiums. Many of these incidents are perpetrated by fascist groups that are becoming more and more popular as African immigration issues have picked up across southern Europe. I can understand conservative push-back against liberal governments and politics in the EU after the financial meltdown, but fascism is a bit overboard. I'm hoping it's mostly bluster and loses traction like other extremist movements.
