This post is absolutely correct. Summerall was not "exciting" to listen to, but he loved what he was doing, and with Madden being a bit wacky next to him, it meshed so well. I don't know if it's Buck's fault or whatever, but he's never meshed well with anyone else. I'm counting down the days til Tim McCarver retires.
What do you all think of Dick Stockton? I like him but a lot of people don't seem to like when he's on.

So instead I listen to CBS sports radio and hear Jim Rome and Doug Gottlieb. But, since I'm in Arizona it's still better than the right wing poison on literally every other station.

My CBS station mercifully cut Gottlieb out in favor of a local show. Jim Rome has always been a guilty-pleasure show but I rarely listen to it.
