I'm a huge bird nerd, so much so that I'm majoring in Wildlife Ecology just to study birds. I'm still a novice though and would appreciate any suggestion for books on watching techniques. My ultimate life goal is to see/photograph every species of bird in America. Also, I can't ID this gull, it looks like a non-breeding Franklin's but it's not quite right.
