I'm glad that Rush is getting a second wind, because they had some lean years there (Counterparts is a terrible album), but whattayaknow, twenty years after that release, they put out some of their best music with Clockwork Angels.

That's funny, because Counterparts is one of my favorites of theirs. I know it's kind of 90's grunge slop in spots, but I am a sucker for it. That huge drum sound when Animate starts gets me every time.

One thing I don't understand is why everyone seems to place Clockwork Angels way above Snakes and Arrows. As a whole I think it is a better album, but Snakes has some really great music on it and, in my opinion, some of Peart's better lyrics.
