Ghostwoods posted:

While I'm here, may I immodestly plug Uncle Sheogorath's Really Helpful Hints and Tips for inclusion? Quoting the info file, "It removes all of the loading screen hints and tips in the game and replaces them with a blend of helpful, enlightening, confusing, untrue, insane, funny and/or peculiar observations from Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness."

To my astonishment, it seems to have somehow gathered over 1000 endorsements. It's been a while since I last checked. I am, actually, touched. In the head. And also... Well, maybe not, eh?

When I have the time, I do now plan to update it to include the DLC tips, some of the more popular mods, and additional general rambling craziness, but not until my life is a little less hectic.

I love the comment that complains it isn't TRUE insanity, as if he's a connoisseur

Is there a mod or console command to mute followers? I'm using the chick from the Sorcery mod but god help you if you're in a dungeon, she just keeps saying her line over and over.

Has anyone else been using LOOT instead of BOSS to do their mod organization? I came back to skyrim recently, and after updating all my mods the game still crashed with BOSS's load order, whereas LOOT's is working perfectly now. Apparently it does mod-asset analysis instead of just using a load order so it's way more stable, even if the load order it gave me on the surface made no loving sense. I guess I can't complain if it works though.
