I recently started reading some manga again. Finished Billy Bat, but everyone probably know about that by now. On the other hand, people might not know about...

This is a pretty short, 6 volume series about a bunch of kids living in an orphanage. Each chapter tends to focus on one or two kids and whatever issues they're facing in their daily lives. It's pretty great and gave me a good look on how orphanages in Japan worked. Most of the kids aren't there because their parents died, but because of "difficult circumstances" at home. Might even be somewhat realistic, since it's based on the authors own experiences.

Oh yeah, the author is Matsumoto Taiyo, so the art is gorgeous.


Anyway, that's my manga recommendation. Hope this thread keeps chugging on.
