I wrote Base Raiders and it's just about ready to go out. I sent out a PDF to backers of the Kickstarter yesterday and I plan to go to press in the next week.

I interviewed Mike Olson, the guy behind Strange FATE, and the upcoming Atomic Robo RPG http://slangdesign.com/rppr/2013/10/interview/interview-with-mike-olson-strange-fate-and-atomic-robo-rpg-designer/

My FATE game, Base Raiders, is now available for sale. It's a superhero game about dungeon crawling in abandoned superhero or villain bases for fun and profit. It has some new features, which you can read about on the Drivethru page or the Kickstarter page http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rosspayton/base-raiders-the-superpowered-dungeon-crawling-rpg PDF http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/120708/Base-Raiders Print https://www.createspace.com/4341851 If you buy the print copy, forward your order confirmation email to rpprpodcast at gmail and I'll send you the PDF. Note that this uses Strange FATE, not FATE Core. I preferred the complexity of the Strange FATE power system to Core.

I wrote some new rules for Base Raiders covering origin story adventures - i.e. adventures where the PCs gain their superpowers for the first time. It references rules from the main book, but I thought it could be useful for anyone who wants to run a superhero origin story game http://www.baseraiders.com/2013/11/03/new-rules-origin-stories/

How would you represent the following scene in your preferred flavor of FATE? http://vimeo.com/80117014 In Strange FATE, I see two PCs using the Empathy and Presence skills to invoke and tag new Aspects on the clown until he gives up in frustration. A 'Sadistic Torturer' can't torture victims who don't show fear, after all.

I know there are a few different implementations of superpowers in Fate Core, aside from the SRD generic one - burn shift, wild blue etc. Which one has the best implementation, in your opinion?
