The sad thing is, that shobdob or whatever is just being a dumb troll but will eventually start believing all this bullshit in their quest to spite human decency, whereas at least SSB is genuinely deluded. That may not sound any better, but (and yes this will sound dumb) after diving into researching psychedelics, parapsychology and occultism whilst avoiding the conspiracy side of things, I'm finding it pleasantly relieving how some of the more interesting personalities I'm coming across are psychotics who understand the implications of being psychotic and actually make an effort to stay mentally healthy/balanced (as opposed to ones who don't, or non-psychotics who think they are perfectly rational and therefore never wrong). The downside is such people have had to go through the hell of being psychotic in the first place to understand why not being psychotic is far more practical.

So I guess where I'm going with this is that if literally psychotic wack jobs like Truckin A Man can become insightful Prester Janes because deep down they aren't assholes, there's gotta be some hope for a few of the others, right?

Smoke Something has a history of opioid abuse amongst other drugs. Boner wishes they'd become a statistic. Definitely a drugfucked brokebrain, probably not deserving of death though, you'd be surprised how much people can recover. Sobriety does wonders for healing a damaged psyche.

Conspiratardism always seemed to me to be more of a stims thing than an opioid thing, with psychedelics and weed also fueling a bit of the insanity. I'm all for psychedelics and weed but clearly they don't work for everyone.

You just may want to redefine what is intelligence? Everyone without fail, that seriously researches and does experiments looking for curvature becomes a flat earther. We all learned the same pseudoscience in school and we just questioned it and then validated it by the true scientific method which is TESTING your hypothesis. I tried debunking the flat earth as are all of us recent flat earthers. I have been trying for 3 years to find curvature or any non CGI picture from NASA. I have not found anything that indicates we live on a sphere moving eastwardly at 1000MPH.

I would love to find it and go back to a normal life unfortunately I am like Rorschach from Watchmen, I will not compromise myself in the face of truth. I will die standing behind the flat earth. Are you willing to lay down your life that the world is a sphere? Have you ever seen space personally? Have you looked down and seen a ball rotating or are you just going by what you have been given as evidence? Listen it is a very very clever tricked they pulled on everyone I bought their story hook line and sinker for 30+ years. It wasn't until I did the experiments to where I know NOT believe but KNOW (BIG DIFFERENCE) the earth is flat and stationary and the stars sun and moon move around us.

The thing is what they have planned for those that buy into the ball earth model WILL ultimately cost you your life so I am doing my part to warn and urge people to go out and research for yourself.

I will not answer any questions on this matter go do the research and if you have contention send me video proof of YOUR experiment proving otherwise and will retract all my statements and become a ball earther and give $10,000 cash to whomever can provide video evidence of their experiment and the results can be repeated.

The results for flat earth are repeatable step 1 find a body of water several miles across (preferably a still/calm lake) step 2 using telescopes or lasers measure just above the surface. Use this site to find the supposed curvature at the distance you are measuring http://earthcurvature.com/ step 3 find a deviation in inches or feet off the perfect parallel of the water. YOU WILL NEVER FIND A CURVE but good luck an easy 10 grand probably easier than whatever job you do. $10 ebay green laser pointer a styrofoam cooler lid (tape laser on top of the cooler lid) and place on top of still water and a body of water use google maps or whatever to calculate the distance. I will pay your costs for the laser pointer and cooler lid in addition to the $10,000. What do you have to lose but time and only money to gain?

This guy must be fun at parties.

Flat-Earthers are what I compare holocaust deniers to, to give them an idea of how retarded they sound (not that there's any getting through the layers of delusion), incidentally the Nazis had all sorts of batshit crazy ideas about cosmology to the point that they diverted men and radar equipment from the war effort to try and prove the Hollow Earth hypothesis.

The origin of this idea, as applied in Nazi Germany, can be traced to 1918 and a young German aviator, Peter Bender, who came upon some old copies of Cyrus Teed's periodical, The Sword of Fire. Bender developed and 'refined' the theory (if such a term can be used) into what he called the Hohlweltlehre (Hollow World Theory), also enlisting the strange ideas of Marshall B. Gardner who had claimed that the Sun is actually inside the Earth on whose surface we are kept not by gravity but by the pressure of sunlight.

Bender claimed that the hollow bubble of the Earth was the same size as we believe our spherical Earth to be, with solar radiation keeping everything pressed to the concave surface. Beneath our feet is an infinite mass of rock; above our heads the atmosphere stretches to 45 miles, beyond which there is a hard vacuum. At the centre of this vacuum there are three objects: the Sun, the Moon and the Phantom Universe, which is a globe of blue gas containing the shining points of light astronomers mistake for stars.

It is night over a part of this concave Earth when the blue mass passes in front of the Sun, and the shadow of this mass on the Moon produces eclipses ... This theory of Bender's became popular round about the 1930s. The rulers of Germany and officers of the Admiralty and Air Force High Command believed that the Earth is hollow.

The Rugen experiment was, of course, a miserable failure. The Nazi hierarchy turned their backs on the Hohlweltlehre and on Peter Bender himself, who was sent to his death in a concentration camp.

Horbiger's Welteislehre, with its equally ridiculous doctrine of the eternal conflict between ice and fire in an infinite Universe, won the day.

IIRC one of the more prominent alt-right figures did a lot of drugs and credits them in part for "getting woke". I'm not afraid of advocating people taking psychedelics and seeing through the bullshit of the mundane, but the crap that so many folks latch onto afterwards is very :smith:

, there's a prevalent theme of contrarianism in the psychedelic scene. There's a lot of trippers who are balls deep into all the cliche conspiracies and I'm pretty sure that demographic constitutes a fair percentage of the sincere flat earthers. As with schizophrenia it's hard to tell if psychedelics are directly responsible for symptoms or if they just aggravate an underlying condition.

Got told this pretty much by one of the two Nazis I've had to work with. The other one said more or less that the Holocaust was a mistake albeit with the right intentions. They're still wrong but definitely the lesser of two evils in this instance.

E: Also Nazi #1 was a stand-up comedian and MMA trainer on the side. #2 was just a skinhead and I worked with them before the internet was ubiquitous, maybe they're more radicalized by now. You young 'uns have no idea how not normal all this poo poo in this thread was, barely a decade ago.

Alcoholics Anonymous is the original 12-step program which gets a bad rap for several legit reasons but otoh works for a few people. South Park took the piss pretty well imo.

Narcotics Anonymous is the 12-step program but for drug addicts. It's the 2nd largest 12-step program organization.

Narconon is the Scientology organization that looks to exploit the vulnerable and inadvertently kills a bunch of people.

There is no Alchonon program, don't give them ideas.
