This one guy on my Facebook chooses to believe the (relatively) most sane of the various conspiracies, that it was a false flag operation by Bush, and I get to hear about it every 9/11; truly, 9/11 is the gift that keeps on giving.  e:D&D isn't the place for Chilean coup gimmick threads; that's the GBS tradition. So for content, I'll just baselessly posit that it's a cocktail of biases, not the least of which are confirmation bias and hostile attribution bias, which generate your run-of-the-mill 9/11 Truther.
