Just reading the tea leaves of all the Meyrowitz interviews lately and other stuff I've seen of him he doesn't seem real eager to engage on (new) UFC stuff. Especially in that 20th anniversary doc where he's talking about the sale and what was going on at the time in his life sounded like someone recalling some sort of huge trauma. I don't think it's that he feels excluded or spiteful over their success. Maybe he's just sick of people saying what a rube he was for selling it in hindsight.

If the UFC ever wants a cautionary example for anyone thinking about losing their temper post fight they could do a lot worse than Paul Daley on Monday's MMA hour. He went from talking about losing to a b-league Russian directly into bragging about how some of the guys from One Direction came to a BAMMA event.

I bought the EA MMA game for 3 dollars at a pawn shop. I like all the Bas Rutten and getting to sleep over at Rickson Gracies gym. I loving loathe EA and their obsession with making all their sports games from this time do important stuff with the right stick. If you don't have to spend more than a value meals worth on it I recommend it for the laughs, memories, and B-leagueness.

Thanks, I had an email out to the Salaverry gym since it's closest to me but I forgot about AMC. I've only played the career mode in EA MMA so far and it was so painful I went back to Madden for a break yesterday. But I'll go home and punch Japanese people as Nick Diaz tonight.

I don't. I would love to but I just don't have the time or money. As much as I would love to have nearly any aspect of MMA as a subject, I'm already offering a lot of my own resources for next to nothing in return and I'm not interested in wooing people into accepting free stuff. I'm not gonna be offended if no one gets back to me.

I do but it's not going to be available on the web until this weekend and I'm torn on whether I'd rather have a nearly 10 year old reel that isn't HD or roll the dice on the other replies for pro bono work being able to shore up a new one. Right now I'm more focused on finding people who need me more than I need them so AMCP and the Salaverry Gym might be aiming too high, I also mentioned that the offer is open to any individual fighters or trainers who needed video work. Salaverry's youtube page hasn't uploaded anything since 2011 or something though so there might be a chance there. Basically I'm trying balance my degree and willingness to relinquish rights to footage against my dude-off-the-streetness in order to get a camera on something that isn't going to put me to sleep, even if it isn't MMA related. If I could get ahold of fight footage I would 'Reem it up with any local casino fighter. That's kind of the angle in offering to at least talk to ANYONE from these places. If someone's willing to subject themselves to it I'm perfectly able.

Yeah not a bad idea at all, I'm hoping someone actually gets excited about the idea and replies just so I could have an interested partner but I have a feeling sooner or later I'm just going to want the footage to play with. I recently got ahold of a Canon Vixia hf100 and a few different lenses for it which is what prompted the recent "Maybe I should start shooting stuff again" thing. I'll probably end up renting down the road but I've been pretty impressed playing around with this for now.

Thanks for the encouragement B-Leaguers, I might just narrow my focus to just MMA. If for nothing else I can get some stories for here. Anyways I'll stop talking about this after I drop this fun story from my schooling: Back in like 2003/4 when I was at the AIS one of the earlier projects I had to do was in a class taught by a guy who did a lot of sports production for a local channel. He had a bunch of high school football footage he would give us and 4 different voice overs, each one would kind of drive how you edited. When I got them all home I realized all the voiceovers were complete poo poo and I hated them. I contacted the guy and asked if it'd be alright if I got someone else to read the same script, he said that'd be alright. So on a longshot I emailed Fragmaster the script and asked if he would re-record it and he surprised me by emailing back the greatest goddamn highschool football v/o ever, it was bombastic and loud and just sounded like testosterone on tape. The teacher asked if he could include it as an option in the future and as far as I know it's still being used.
