Bluedeanie posted:The problem is I'm pretty sure that bounty comes from Christy Mack, not the state or county. I don't have much of a handle on what porn stars take home so she might be able to pay that out no problem but I'd still feel kind of greasy taking money from a battered woman who's about to have serious medical bills. I would think dog is doing it for the publicity if there isn't a bounty offered by the state.

Is he actually good at it or is he more likely to have paid the cops to tell him when they found War Machine so he could stand there when they arrested him? From what I've seen on his show it matches the old euphemism that most investigations are solved through snitching rather than sleuthing

DekeThornton posted:Yeah, sure, but still it seemed a bit odd to me that they actually mentioned the UFC by name several times instead of just alluding to it by hyping CW as the main European promotion and similar phrases. The UFC talks as little as possible about other promotions because they are #1 and not looking to give those other orgs the exposure. However, I know exactly what you are talking about because it weirded me out when I watched my first few episodes of Inside MMA and they're talking about all these leagues outside the UFC, but also discussing the UFC and openly admitting that UFC is the best organization. I believe both of our chagrin comes from exiting the sphere of "UFC is MMA" and delving into the wider world where the UFC is great, it's the #1 MMA org, but non-UFC MMA is pretty cool too
