I'm pretty stoked about this as well. It gives more opportunity for character clashes and interesting personalities to develop. I'm a fan of overall antagonism among heroes, like Timefire and the Timerangers.

I agree. I mean, there's a lot of stuff you can nitpick about W, but the chemistry between the entire cast really sells it for me. Maybe if we're extra lucky and find the right people to blackmail we can get a W: Ten Years Later in five years. At least part of the cast is still willing to reprise their roles!

The cast chemistry is why it was so fun to watch the W Net Movies drawing contests.

At this point it's just anger. It's no longer about preserving joy or happiness -- it's devolved into something weird and dark.

Also, it'd be awesome if Bandai released a video with Kaito teaching you how to dance like Team Baron.

He will always be a supporting character. His rebellion is just to add a bit of extra tension. Now that the existing tension of strained relationships between Takatora and Kouta, and Takatora and Micchy has been resolved.

Really its more of a question what's more interesting. Micchy avenging his brother's death and grasping for power or Micchy getting his just desserts for betraying his brother and getting cut down by even more traitorous schemer like Ryouma.

My preference is for Micchy getting slapped around by Mai if/when she learns who he really is and everything he's done. And then Micchy getting the forbidden fruit and using his god-like powers to separate Helheim and Earth so all his friends can stay happy. If that's something he even cares about now.

I would imagine it's how stubbornly he clings to the idea that he can talk down everyone, how long it takes him to come to terms with the fact Demushu couldn't be talked down and how horrified he seemed at the idea someone like that could exist. In a show targeted towards kids it's understandable to draw that out since kids wouldn't be as like to know just how lovely people can be. He's not jaded enough yet basically.

Wasn't the entire conversation with Sagara, when Sagara gave Kouta Kachidoki Arms, about Kouta rejecting the rules the adult world had formed? I.e., you have to kill some for the sake of all? Demushu became, well, not even an exception because it didn't care for a single life -- it never shared a common point of belief with Kouta.

The implication I always got from Kabuto was that Tendou was 'perfect' because upon acquiring the belt as a child he sort of has the entire gameplan for how the timeline post asteroid is going to play out, since he recieved it from his future-self. This is why he's always ahead of everyone and in weird places. At a certain point in the show this timeline fractures and he finds himself requiring more and more having to rely on others because he's no longer ahead of the game.

I always assumed this is outright explained but it got mangled in the TVN translation. Some of it is stuff I managed to glean from Japanese wikis and poo poo.

Perhaps... but the entire timeline after the asteroid is different from God Speed Love because the the level of destruction and the consequences are so different. Plus, that doesn't explain how he crafts a divine miso soup using a radish that he held up to the wind.

Watching Marika cut through all his poo poo in seconds and put him down verbally this episode was glorious. I'm really curious how far Micchy is going to go in the show at this stage. Will he manage to keep hanging around till the end like a cockroach, or will he put down soon so that the show can move on to other, bigger threats. Marika's remark that he's no king would suggest he's gonna die soon. I'm not honestly sure which I'd prefer at this stage.

Honestly, with Micchy's comments at the end of the show, he seems like the biggest threat. Even the craziest Overlord only wants to keep humanity around as playthings. Micchy is actually keen on doing away with this world and starting a new one with obedient friends and more dancing.

I am slightly disappointed with the Micchy/Melonbowl arc so far and hows its been handled so far. Part of me acknowledges that this is very much a sidearc to the more important ongoings of the world and the invasion but part of me wants this sidearc to have a cathartic end. Micchy and his dealings have been a very uninteresting and annoying part of the invasion and to see him and his issues with his brother end this way doesn't feel right. I want there to be catharsis. I want Micchy to see what he's done and correct himself. I want him to be a true Kamen rider. This though? the fight on the pier? this isn't what i wanted.

That said though, Kaito getting infected? Kouta becoming even more of an inhuman the more he uses Kiwami? Micchy potentially debasing himself and facing his demons? holy poo poo

There's no coming back from any of this. The only thing I need for this to be cathartic is for Mai to turn her back on Micchy so that he sees what he's done won't create a world anyone he cares about would want to live in. Then Redue will stab him in the back because he'll no longer be entertaining.
