I thought Hit Monkey was just too far along to cancel like they did for the rest of the Offenders project, so it's surprising they finished up and decided to actively do more. I guess it offered up something for someone.

It had some great moments. The introduction of Lady Bullseye at the end of episode 6 was pretty awesome and stuck to my memory. What a loving psychopath! Great song too. I kind of expected it would happen eventually, because what other major story could take place there? Are we still pulling from Claremont comics for these stories? I also find it fascinating that we are still pre-Emma Frost in everything X-Men.

Last episode was pretty post-Claremonte. Emma atleast showed up again. Here's hoping she gets expanded upon, maybe even joins the team. This attack on Genosha in the comics is how she gets her diamond powers interesting enough.

Wasn't that when mutants (not just Emma) started getting "secondary mutations" for some reason? I think that's around the time I got poor in college and had to stop buying books

It’s funny because if you check out https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Secondary_Mutation then half the known/suspected secondary mutations is just mental instability, or Black Tom becoming a tree which had been happening for half a decade or more by that point.

I didn't expect any resolutions from last week's episode this week since that's usually how it works. We still got a great episode. I'm still weirded out by Forge's voice. There's something off about it, like its not mixed right.
