Sprays layer in order of who sprayed them so if you see a spray and you spray over it you can spray overtop of it everywhere it pops up.

The Furry Pound does have a decent community and the servers run well if you turn off sprays while you're there (or, y'know, have some self restraint and just don't look at the animal genitalia). The name is a bit of a turn off but there's not much you can do about that because it is what it is. I've got quite a few Furry Pound servers located near me so whenever I bother to do quickplay there's a chance I'll end up there and not even notice.

Dabir posted:Today I learned a lesson: Never go on FAMOUS TF2 PERSONALITY servers. Never play with FAMOUS TF2 PERSONALITIES. My few run-ins with them have been so weird. One I will mention is a guy who does SFM videos (not ones that get posted here a lot, no not the Team Service Announcement guy). He was playing on 2fort of all maps. He had a posse with him. He was the only one with an Unusual and stood out, painted up. He was playing Sniper and had a whole posse protecting him. He had a Sentry guarding him, a Medic standing there dedicated to JUST healing him, and a Demo who laid stickies and would blow up anyone who got close. Every time he would score a kill everyone would gloat over chat and be as homophobic and as racist as anyone on 2fort, but y'know, just for him. The whole thing was so bizarre. I sent him a message on youtube to see if it was him and he said it was. I hear LazyPurple is a cool guy though. And yeah, The Furry Pound is a West Coast server near me and I didn't put two and two together until I noticed "geewhiz there sure are a lot of animal dick pics on this servoh my GOD!"

I keep mine generally turned off except on funhaver fridays. By the way, the theme this week will be ghost riders. As in spy revolver shootouts. You're welcome. Here's some traditional 100% normal country boy western spies on red team getting in the spirit of ghost-cowboy things already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p3hdT4vmBg Evruhone back to de base. Edit: If you need a cowboy hat for the spy, the bloodhound that you earn from beating Sam in Poker Night At The Inventory 2 is a great oversized and goofy thing to wear on your pretentious franco-spaniard ghost cowboy noggin. The police badge you can get from poker night 1 is also great for western stuff. Sam's revolver is also a good cowboy gun. Also after the halloween event drops, the funhavers server will likely be doing mid-week gatherings for people who want to cooperatively earn the halloween event items. Just throwing this out there, I once created a mash-up of Community HUD and PVHUD but SteamPipe broke everything. So I learned how to make HUDs and re-created my modifications to make PVHUD a little more like CommHUD. It's literally PVHUD with the health/name bar when looking or healing players replaced with one I designed to closely resemble to CommHud. The one thing I hated about PVHUD was the squished and shapeless health bar. Playing medic I find it difficult to quickly gauge how much health someone has without actually reading the number. So I replaced the bar with a standard healthcross and removed numbers since I don't have time for that. gently caress these healthbars Much better... Just install PVHUD and drop the attached file into \steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\. I recommend using PVHUD's auto-updater, go to advanced settings and just set the 4 modified files as 'keep.' This has been working for me with every PVHUD update since SteamPipe was introduced, so I think it's pretty stable. So, spy question. I know not many people used the big earner before the summer patch, so I'm wondering if there is even any point to it now? It just seems that it's entirely outclassed by the L'etranger.

Excellent, new thread just in time for this week's FNF.Dabir posted:Let's get some loadout pics in the new thread! The "I won this hat in a trivia game" Engineer. And the "seriously I need more slots for all these pets" Sniper. Still not sure why the haunted ghosts effect refuses to show up in the item loadout for me. I also went along with everyone's favorite new Pyro gimmick to create the birthday Pyro. Happy birthday, kids!

There's a guide linked in the OP on how to take loadout screenshots someone will actually want to look at, by the way. i know this is only page two but your brown loadout screen thumbnail looks like everyone else's brown loadout screen thumbnail and a little effort can go a long way. Having said that here's my loadouts from the last thread: http://i.imgur.com/APcj9U9.jpg truly the gold standard in aesthetic style and grace.

I'm sure I certainly could make a fancy cutout and screenshots and stuff for my loadouts but I've only got two classes with loadouts I feel are worth showing and it's much easier to just puush a screenshot of the loadout screen. Maybe someday I'll take a good screenshot of knockoff-Liquid-Ocelot but for now abounds.

Ever since I named my strange quick fix "Medi Jumper" (I'm sure someone else has done this before) soldiers and demos just immediately understand what's happening and start jumping. I healed a gibbus wearing demo and the very first time he threw down two stickies we jump-ducked over them and across the map together. If your loadout is good enough to post about then it's good enough to make a replay specifically for where you find the perfect shot while running maxquality settings.

This really should be a regular ingame option. Also, a future funhavers event I was considering is Stock Fortress 2. Which means play the game normally but with stock weapons, and no picking up engineer equipment or using airblasts. It's a blast from the past or something. I won't ask people to wear no hats/miscs, but I'd link a mod like that to turn off the stuff client-side as part of the event as well.
