I hope the Vikings pick him just so Gendo has an aneurysm.

In other news, this draft is loaded with talent and I'm psyched to the gills. Ted Thompson is gonna Thompson, but I'm liking where the Packers are sitting in this draft. Most of the guys I'm targeting won't make it to us, but at least one of the following will and it'll be awesome: Ebron, Mosley, Shazier, Clinton-Dix, Pryor, Barr, Ford, Nix, Marqise Lee, gently caress yeah, it's draft day.

Fake edit: Mallett probably isn't very good and Houston would be dumb to trade more than a fifth-round flier for him.

If we draft a QB as well, that could mean all of the QBs on the roster from last season are gone.

FWIW, I don't hate a trade for Mallett if it's for such a late pick.

I don't disagree with either of these things (he certainly played better than I expected him to, at least) I just feel it is important to make a sample size caveat there.

Brandon Cooks keeps getting mocked to the Eagles at 22. Which is cool and all, but I just don't see that happening. He's basically DeSean Jackson v. 2.0, which is a good thing. But I just don't believe the Eagles are gonna get rid of DeSean and replace him with such a similar player. I'm thinking they just want a big reciever and DeSean is not the direction they are wanting to go.

Amongst everything else with him.

Please pass on Cooks. Please.

That sounds really dumb. So it wasn't because someone suddenly discovered a missing talent in Bortles that shot him up the board? Just a somewhat subpar pro day?

Didn't people speculate that Hoyer would suck hard too? Mallett might be nothing but there is an argument to made for bringing him in for a 6th considering the fate of most 6th round picks it's not a massive investment.

Nobody ever actually traded for Hoyer though. A 6th is usually nothing much but it's still something, and trading for a 1 year rental of a total unknown QB isn't exactly the greatest idea in the world.

Bortles was already shooting up the board by the time pro day came around because of his size and arm

Bridgewater is suffering from being over analysed, that and a poor pro day where he chose to throw without a glove for some inexplicable reason. Most of that I think is more analysts being retards than teams actually giving a poo poo. Most teams focus on game film more than they do combine or pro days.

Its one of those things either the scuttlebutt is because of media hype and they're confirming their own bullshit, or teams actually aren't high on him. I guess we find out today/tomorrow.

Everyone seems to think Chiefs are taking Lee or Cooks. As someone who doesn't watch college football, who is the best? I just want a good reciever now. Bowe is definitely on the downslide and will probably be out of the league in 3-4 years while Avery is worthless if it's not a crossing route with guys safely 10 yards away.

They're both good and they'd both be steals for the Chiefs. My opinion is that Cooks has better big-play homerun in him as well as less injury history but I'd be happy with Lee or Odell Beckham too.
