I posted this in CC last week, but just discovered this thread so thought I'd share here. "I have a surprise for you." is a short horror/comedy created over a single weekend by a team of professionals - largely people who work below the line who wanted to take a crack at working above the line. Aside from owned/borrowed equipment, the budget was essentially non-existent. This was my first time directing a non-commercial production, and we've been getting a pretty good response and are submitting to local and genre festivals. I'd love to hear people's feedback. Log line: Julie's new roommate has a surprise in store for her... and she's convinced it's murder! I have a surprise for you.
