Production values look really good, just watch the energy of the voiceovers in the trailer - they could be a bit more intense and immediately grabbing! Still nice looking visuals though.

My friends and I did a little tester footage of a concept we might expand into for a Northern New York sort of daytime television channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkHGYkUwOwQ I hope it's terrible in all the right ways.

Hat Thoughts posted:I think the hair & outfit is funny as well as the fact that he's cradling a PS1 (altho I think it'd be funnier if attention wasn't drawn to it). But the filter you put on the video doesn't look retro or intentionally degraded in the way I think you're aiming for? I dunno, it bugs me because it just makes everything kind of generally unpleasant to look at, just in a sort of obnoxious way. Also your friend (if that's who's in the video) seems less like he's doing a funny impression and more like he's imitating someone with a learning disability. Also it doesn't really look much like the thing you're aping besides the text at the bottom kinda (the camera is way too active imo). Those are my suggestions!!! Thanks for your suggestions! We're still playing with voice and video effects so I'm happy to get a bit of constructive feedback on that!

I am sorry you were both disappointed with my video. Hopefully this plug/disparaging of old video games I made in high school will be better. I did it as an editing practice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYV8y2-ZyQc

FreudianSlippers posted:I worked on this campaign video for a candidate in the Icelandic presidential elections. I liked it! The acting seemed fine to me but that might also be because I don't speak the language. But it was a dry kind of fun.
