It makes sense for weapons, but I can't help finding it funny that heavy armour suddenly becomes less sturdy just because a mage is wearing it.  Edit: just changed around my characters' jobs for the first time. Up until now I thought Ringabel's level-up animation was like that because he was a performer, but no it's unaffected by jobs, that's just how he is. I think I know who my favourite character will be

It might be meant to signify that the armour doesn't become less sturdy, just that a mage is less adept at wearing heavy armour than a warrior or knight would be. * The fact that each person can be an adept mage or knight at the toss of a coin is politely ignored in this scenario. e: * To clarify, to the point of it being detrimental and where a robe would be more effective. Hahaha, I just completely trivialised the minotaur fight by putting Transience, Comeback Kid and Turn Tables on all my characters and having them keep Utsusemi up at all times. I don't think he managed to hit anybody more then two or three times for the whole fight. Thanks for the tip about evading its attacks, quest giver person!

I did that fight and had him taunted to avoid it hitting anyone but my knight but it managed to slip its heavy attack through on its last BP and one-shot my Ninja. I was all set to revive him but someone went just after it and killed it. My perfectly balanced EXP values, shattered.

I haven't used my 3DS too much, but is there a way for a NA region to get a EU demo? Like with home brew or anything not terribly dangerous or complex?

Homebrew on 3DS is pretty much not gonna happen in any way that's not dangerous or complex for a long, long while. Nintendo's got an iron grip on how data is handled, to the point where they can remotely delete games and apps from your system if they think you got them through illicit means. I have heard that if you've got a 3DS with old firmware it's hackable, but the second you connect to the internet homebrew becomes pretty much impossible.

1607 2065 2000 I'll add all the above  So with the demo, all the item bonuses seem kind of crappy but are there any other bonuses that carry over to the main game? The wording confuses me a little and I don't know if it leads to extra quests in the main game or if it's just talking about the demo having quests that don't take place in the main game.
