Has she explored leveraging her current experience and degree into a another position that might pay more? I'd imagine with all of the work she has at her current job she would be able to find someone willing to hire her to do some of those things for more than $11/hr. I'd try that before going into real estate. I know the job market in Nevada is tough but you guys seem to be too content with your current jobs.
