Knyteguy posted:We can't sell the cars, or at least we need to have two cars at all times. My wife and I shared a vehicle for 3 years, but my current boss set an expectation that I have my own vehicle in case I need to go to a client's office for something. There wasn't enough time to save. I know we spent too much, and it was stupid. Have you tried asking your boss to give you an allowance for the company-mandated maintenance of the car?

Every time you use generic meds instead of Genuine(TM) Patented(C) Pharmaceutical(TM) Medical Products(TM) by GlaxoSmithExxonMegaCorp(SM), a kitten gets set on fire (and then charged for the kerosene). Or so pharmaceutical industry lobbying has led me to believe(TM). Generics are great. Panadol isn't sold in Japan because ppl use ibuprofen instead, so last time I visited the family in Australia, I went to the chemist and asked at the counter where it was. (Apparently it's behind the counter now.) The pharmacist said "Would you like our home-brand product instead?" It was something like $4 for 100 tablets compared to $6 for 30 for Panadol. Seriously, gently caress the pharmaceutical patent industry.
