Speaking of piano, I bought myself an Arturia KeyLab Essential MK3 (49 key) that should show up next week or so hopefully. I want to use it to make lovely music but I figured the 49 keys are also enough to perhaps get better at playing the piano as well as a bonus. So maybe time to check out Rocksmith+ for a month or so.

I just signed up for the trial and will give it a shot tomorrow but no MacOS support is disappointing and makes it unlikely that I will keep it tbh, not really my use case to use this on my phone I don’t think.

Yeah I've been eyeing that too. Seems like it could be a fun alternative. I want to get back into playing the guitar as well either way but I do have Rocksmith 2014 as most do at this point I think.

Fun fact: It looks like the 10-year rule isn't 100%. I purchased the Aerosmith pack a month or two back thankfully but they're listed on the riffrepeater site as January 7th 2014 but it looks like it's already gone. So maybe grab things you for-super-certain want now instead of trying to do just-in-time purchases...

One the subject of delisted DLC, I've recently got a PS5. I installed Rocksmith 2014 but found it didn't grab the dlc automatically, so I trawled through the list and downloaded all the purchased ones I saw, any better suggestions? I also don't think I saw the apparently delisted Food content I've bought. There also seems not to be cloud saves on console? All my progress was reset. Not a big deal I guess but wasn't the case on the Steam version when I got a new PC.

I would give it a go but all of those payment issues and Ubisoft being fairly quiet regarding them is putting me off. I am not about to deal with some bullshit charges a year down the line because their garbage fucks up.

The price is steep but primarily the complaint near the start was paying that much for, of all things, the complete discography of The Wiggles. If they have a solid library of good songs then the price at least reflects the quality. Plus there's Piano Mode now.
