Well, after using Rocksmith+ for a month on the free trial, I won't be continuing with the subscription. Ultimately, I can't get past the random song listings (seems like there are ton of classics/no brainers that should be included but aren't) and the horrible interface (why do they have to go against standard UI elements in the OS and instead use all their own?). Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

I think I got in the habit of doing it because there was a time where they weren't fully charting everything they dropped. If they aren't including a bunch of chord arrangements I'll just call them songs going forward.

I decided to try Rocksmith+ again for piano, but it still annoys me that chord names aren't shown - I'm still pretty bad at reading sheet music but I also feel like a dummy every time I stop to figure out which chord a red-green-pink note is  It's extra frustrating because they have the exact implementation I want for chord arrangements on guitar, where you get the list of chords with finger positions ahead of time, but you can't play those arrangements on keyboard either (which is extra baffling for songs which didn't have guitar parts to begin with) e: Are there any other piano/keyboard song practice tools which 1. feature songs from this century 2. don't require elaborate workarounds to fix audio latency like Synthesia and 3. don't have Melodics' gently caress-you pricing? overeager overeater fucked around with this message at 13:07 on Mar 28, 2024 |
