I'll call it now: the rest of the season is going to be having a running B-plot of Beth gradually coming to realize how awful a person Rick really is, which culminates in her snapping by the finale and telling him to get out of her life, with Rick falling into a deep depression that would make his breakup with Unity look pleasant.
