Three Scythers just showed up to my woefully underprepared colony (in the middle of an extreme heat wave no less). This is my first time dealing with mechanoids and I thought having a few EMP grenades would be enough but apparently all they do is very briefly stun them.

At my disposal I have: stick bombs, molotovs, the starter rifle, a shotgun, EMP grenades, frag grenades, and a random collection of melee weapons. It seems like nothing really puts a dent in them. I'm running Combat Extended. How can I kill these assholes?

I think I should have researched Machining earlier.

Aw dang, not compatible with CE, which I kind of wish I hadn't used in the first place. Ammo is too complicated.

Smoothing takes forever and my guys like, never actually do it. Even if I prioritize construction they will wander around aimlessly before actually smoothing stuff.

vvvvv liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, all the internal stuff appears to be 'standard', it's just the limbs that get new ponyparts, along with tails, horns, and wings. It doesn't look like you'd be able to attach prosthetic wings to a standard pony, however, which I disagree with. Technology was supposed to make all ponis equal.
Man I really want to just go around the internet posting this in places without any context.

I just panned around the map and realized it's covered in animal skeletons all of the sudden.
