I watched Chasing Amy when I was snowed in. In Holden's mature comic you can pause it and see the quote "you must always put an individual ABOVE their actions..." So hes saying it's really bad she used to be a whore, but she's not anymore so it's ok...I guess. The movie is not an anti whore shaming movie, but from that quote seems to share Holden's view that the girls past is horrible and wrong... This movie is a square
