When he was in talking about his magical healing powers I thought he was great, a great gimmick, charismatic, ideal guest. For some reason, now he has some sort of booking power and is treated with respect? I don't get that part.

Sure, in some ways, but I'd hardly say he comes off as truly unhappy and pity from some guy on an internet forum is absurd. He's also never come off at all as easily pushed around, once his radio career really got rolling.

This, too. He's about as successful as possible in an extremely cool job.

Almost every single time Ant has had the opportunity to confront a person that they've been bashing behind that person's back, he clams up or completely shifts personalities into this kowtowing yes-man. I can't remember him ever actually confronting someone who was a "celebrity" or someone who may, in some context, be considered an equal. He will only poo poo on callers (subhuman) and blacks (subcaller).

I definitely agree with this sentiment. Trying to mine the "best callers on radio" day after day is getting tired. The callers are pretty poo poo now and I don't even finish shows anymore. As soon as I hear "what's in the box?" or "better headlines" I check out.

This show has turned into a real piece of poo poo out of sheer laziness. I rather have Ron take a year then this direction.

I'm kind of wondering how "best callers in radio" became a bit, since the first time I heard it the callers were coming up with uniformly the worst loving jokes possible and frustration was audible in the room, while pretty okay ones were coming from in studio and off the internet. Thought it was a joke! The next day, it happened again. Then, again. It's not a joke, huh.

I have a healing power, of touch. I'm a healer. You know, I went to school, to become a dentist. I'm actually the only dentist-comedian. Probably something to do with my Jewish upbringing.

Now I know why Ron likes this guy so much, he's probably the single most carny-looking motherfucker I've ever seen.

That was beautiful, though. It's so rare to hear someone who lives every day based on the lies they tell to themselves be actually confronted by the truth, by evidence directly contradicting their delusional reality. Fez had no choice but to do what was easiest for him, play at being a victim of himself. The heavy breathing was so great. Fez was trying to, by force of will alone, force his body into having a heart attack so people would then be forced to turn around with him and play his little pity game and now it's all about Fez. The person who called borderline personality disorder is pretty spot on.

Like, Fez is a loving piece of poo poo and a manipulating ash-pile of a man. No one should have sympathy for him any more in his personal life after that. Decades-long lies, just so you can manipulate the person you are dependent on and work with to believe that you think he's your best friend. It's hosed up. Can anyone here imagine a life where you spend almost your entire 60+ years on earth telling yourself you're scared and afraid of life because it's just easier to sit in your filthy apartment and jerk off to rape porn and eat the same cheeseburger every thursday.

If he had just loving gone in and said "HEY ITS A BEST OF, DAVE'S SICK", and then did what you said, apparently Dave would be fine. I even remember that quick aside recently on Ron and Fez where Ron was like "if Fez isn't here I still come in. If you're sick, Dave still comes in. Are you Fez?" or something. Paraphrasing.

and forgetting where ron was born and thats in the song lmfao. that was the best. fez of all people should know where ron is from. he's said it on the air plenty of times, at least, and expresses pride in his place of origin regularly. fez is a bad stalker.

It's actually pretty inspired. There is no other radio show (and rare media elsewhere) about experiencing and participating in the slow, agonizing mental and physical decline of a selfish, violent, and manipulative person who plans life as a victim while avoiding and refusing all help. And then sometimes there are jokes and/or interviews with cool people. I listen to every minute of every show.

Started listening last year. I will say this, Anthony is funny as gently caress when he wants to be. His rants were just plain awful, incoherent and made the show grind to a screeching halt. Irregardless of the "SJW" versus "free speech" issue you have to say he was being stupid as all hell.

For weeks they've been trying to go ten days without a public apology and went through countless people in the public eye getting fired for saying things like he said on twitter. What exactly thought that he was immune to this and wouldn't be fired for doing the exact same thing?

This is exactly why i'm so tickled. This is SUCH a perfect, beautifully ironic ending to the show.

Greg Proops is as left wing as Anthony is racist. This is a great thing though IMO, smartest is an excellent show.
