A few years ago, there was an episode of South Park, a show which often exaggerates things to a grotesque degree for humor, where Butters was sent to an pray-away-the-gay camp. The anti-gay therapy in that episode was less bizarre and extreme than the techniques used in real life.

The Koch brothers seem to be motivated by pure, white-hot rage that somewhere on Earth, there is money that belongs to someone who is not the Koch brothers. They spend all this money, and grind so many people into the dirt, to get more money to grind down more people. 'd kind of understand if they had a big Scrooge McDuck gold pile that they could look at and get smug at as it grows bigger or whatever, but nope, it's just a number on my ledger floating in some ethereal moneyspace.
