Same but I'm biased since Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books and think Catcher in the Rye is extremely overrated.

I also love Gatsby and think Catcher is overrated. I never understood how I was supposed to "sympathize" with Holden. I have heard his other works aren't bad, though, particularly Franny and Zooey (which I keep meaning to read).

Loved tonight's book club because I am also a big Hemingway fan. If he will be sticking with classic literature, I would like to see him do Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 next.

It's not on Friday nights, just Monday-Thursday. They also take a few week-long (or more) breaks throughout the year.

Ugh, the GM recall. My car is affected by it (Chevy Cobalt 2005) and I got the recall notice in the mail a few weeks ago. Taking the stuff off my keyring I can deal with, but I'm not missing weeks of work just because I have to drive over "rough roads" every day (hooray for my city being bankrupt and unable to fix the massive potholes/lovely roads).

2001? I had heard 2004 they first noticed it; this is even worse.

I assumed Stephen was intentionally mispronouncing Godot (I always thought it was "god-OH"), but evidently there is still debate over the proper pronunciation:
