Josh is an uber nerd, Wrench is an anarchist punk/metal head, and Horatio is just a dude. I'd say none of them are hipsters, though. And they are cool for stickin' it to the man, because the man is literally an evil tech bro in this situation. And they aren't endangering the lives of a bunch of innocent bystanders in the process like Aiden Pearce was. And they actually have personalities beyond "I'm a huge rear end in a top hat who murders people and doesn't care if my family gets hurt because I'm so single minded."

What is wrong with Marcus? He's chill and he is friendly to people. The crew have an actual rapport. The problem with Aiden Pearce was not that he was bland. The problem was that he alternated between being melodramatic brooding generic white protagonist and total loving sociopath and the game's story kept on saying THIS IS A GOOD GUY Blockhouse posted:pierce wasn't just bland. he was actively monstrous while everything in the narrative screamed NO REALLY THIS GUY IS A HERO Yeah this

Also I just looked up the "hipster merchant of death," line and it's a thing said ironically by Wrench about being able to 3D print custom guns. It's a joke line. I mean, I know a lot of people in this thread have a really hard time reading tone from the insane discussions that happen about the GB crew, but holy poo poo.

Wow you're right being insulting has really changed my entire opinion. I'm gonna pick up the season pass now. It's just the same problems as watch dogs 1. 3d printing an assault rifle and mowing down some guys who maybe did a bad thing doesn't paint any of these people as the cool good guys the game is acting like they are. Like okay when watch dogs was first teased everyone was like "Oh you just run around saving people and use your hacker stuff and maybe hit someone with a club if it gets real so maybe it wont have guns at all!" and that is what this game should be.

Your misreading of the characters has already solidified that, so there's no point in even attempting that. I'm just flabbergasted by it. And the people in these games didn't "maybe do a bad thing." They're all really lovely people. You could also play the game exactly the way you're saying if you want, as there's melee and non-lethal guns.

Alternate-Universe Dan who has a different set of interests would be asking questions like "So what's the deal with food? People enjoy this stuff?! I don't get eating. I mean.... is it the taste? Like, you put it in your mouth, chomp it a little, and then.... what? You swallow or something? I don't know, I just don't get it."

Is some ex mercenary who ends up working for a private security company really deserving of being murdered? Entire metal gear games revolved around that question. And besides the game goes out of it's way to show how easy it is to fake that very data. What if all of those security guards don't have horrible backstories and it's just an excuse blume uses to cover their asses just in case? Wouldn't that be a fun - oh wait the game doesn't care just shoot the bad guys!

I generally liked playing Yakuza 3 and 4 but I got so burned out on them by the end that I couldn't bring myself to finish 5 and can't see myself doing so either for 0 or 6. Traversing that city just gets really tedious after a certain point and the various quirky minigames lose their luster eventually. If I could do a run that had max stats/equipment/all sidequests completed and I could just run through the story I'd probably do so though.

He tweeted about it shortly after it was created no less, meaning one of two things, either someone told him about it IMMEDIATELY, or this is an incredibly, hilariously poorly thought out publicity stunt That then backfired anyways and overwatch porn ate their lunch there too

This was the mission where I decided that trying to play the game stealthily without killing anyone would be an exercise in frustration.
