I like Austin because I unironically think someone discussing Derrida while Vinny dies in the same place in Castlevania 20 times in a row is endlessly entertaining. This performance art character of "Dan Ryckert" (in the vein of Ali G) is tolerable or even entertaining most of the time but wrestling bores me to tears. If Drew were so in-your-face about referencing Formula One all the time I'd probably dislike that too. But I guess we all have our preferences

The most annoying thing about the "Dan Ryckert" character is that he defines his sheltered narrow white-boy Kansas poo poo-upbringing as "normal" and always seems unpleasantly surprised that in a world of seven billion people that others do things differently, I think the writers should take another pass at him for next season. Like, maybe have him castrated or something
