While I haven't watched wrestling in ages, I do find the culture fascinating. I just saw that Nakamura and Ibushi match and I haven't been that invested in a match since I was a kid! :neckbeard:

I think a lot of this has to do with the writers. When I see some of these guys in other things that aren't bound by a bad script, they are quick, clever and charismatic. But much of that is stifled by the things they have to say (Reigns will have the spectre of that Looney Toons promo looming over him for a long time).

The unfortunate part is that the wrestlers take all the blame for the things somebody else wrote for them when it's really out of their control.
