Yay the Warburton sycophancy begins!

Bullshit scrum call, Italy had Wales on ice! Than again, crap scrum calls are a given in the modern game now.

Edit: BAHAHAHA

Wow, amazing interception. Italy really showed up for this game.

Don't think they're going to win but they've definitely got their poo poo together today.

Itlay really are a strange team to work out. Every year they show signs of promise and are tough matches for the more favoured teams. And they still manage to finish bottom or second last

They didn't last year.

They just need a reliable kicker and they'd easily be a match for any of the other teams.

It its, despite Wales winning the last two, the most closely contested championship in the game. There is very little in it when you have only 5 games to play.

As an Italian rugby fan, that's what pisses me off. There are so many big games they could have won if their drat kicking was up to par.

I think their big problem is their reliance on Parisse. Outside him they've been very limited in previous seasons. They were impressive today though, glad we didn't slip up.
Hopefully they'll play the rest of the tournament like today, trusting their backs to attack.

Well I guess i cant ask more than a win in the first game. Have to improve alot for the Ireland game next week. Ireland in Dublin is hard enough, though Ireland have been struggling recently.

But yeah, decent start. Getting past what could have been a trap game is always good.

I bet there's an NRL kicker with enough Italian blood to qualify if he converted. Too bad the kickers usually aren't the ones implicated in the sex-, drug- and/or violence-related scandals that usually make NRL players have to leave their hemisphere.

Not too impressed with Wales, really. I usually don't like them too much but I thought they were one-dimensional as ever today. Except Roberts and sometimes North, they don't even run angles just hit one or two off the ruck straight up. Italy looked OK, they are definitely improving but missing those kicks is just a killer. Michele Campagnaro deserved MOTM, he looked good and is only 20. Italy needs to target beating Scotland and England at home, I can't see them winning in Paris or Dublin.

Not the best of starts for Wales really. Italy could have won that if they hadn't handed them an easy try and Wales looked uninterested throughout.

Went to Three Sisters and watched it there. S'alright - atmosphere was a bit dull until Italy started to do stuff.
