i cant decide whether im the reset button listed as a feature or the speed comparison to a 3 year old phone that was slow as gently caress at the time anyway.

pressing both volume buttons looks like it would be intensely aggravating

a trip to staten island is honestly the best tourist thing in nyc. ride the ferry out for free, drink one dollar beers, observe the lower manhattan skyline, and take photos of the statue of liberty. it can't be beat.

unfortunately, it's mandatory to get off on staten island briefly. you can't ride the same ferry boat both ways.

i was gonna say that

but I missed the $1 beers when I went :(

that article is a bit too derogatory towards the iphone

it makes it sound as if their downfall was mainly to bad luck instead of selling lovely products for their whole business career even while some comes along with something decent.

yeah the only thing I feel pity towards blackberry for was their (apparent) attempts to get better data plans and app store equivalents from the carriers

of course they might be rewriting the past about that in an attempt to not seem so incompetent

that's if you even count symbian/blackberry as "smartphones"

because if they count, then a RAZR and basically every other high end mobile phone circa 2004 counts too

iphone think pieces written before the app store should be given a bit of a pass IMO, not enough to excuse that smugstorm above but in context they're slightly more forgivable

the iphone was pretty lovely until the 3GS and IOS 3
