I like the idea that the Mana are actually there and contributing, instead of like Seiken Densetsu 3 or whatever when they basically disappear unless you need something, and even then you don't even see them half the time. I always wanted to see their thoughts on what's going on. I mean, they're elemental spirits. They're pretty well tied to anything involving mana.
