I may be in a weird, or maybe not so weird, position. For the last 5 years, I've programmed Games, mostly Web and Online games. Due to circumstances, I may have to jump ship from games and move over to more traditional software development. Has anyone here done this? What is the transition like? If I should re-skill, which direction should I focus, or is that really up to the market in the area? Most of my experience is As3 and C#/XNA/Unity. I'm a good game programmer, and I've lead teams for some web games.
