If you ask someone who read comics within the past, 10/20/30 years which character is more of a major character in the X-Men storylines, Emma would only lose out to Jubilee if you go back 30 years. They just didn't know what to do with her after Generation X ended. She lost her powers on M-day, became a vampire, became BFFs with X-23, became Not A Vampire, then found a baby and went "Yoink, mine now!"
