jivjov posted:I have nothing against two-handed play...but I wanna kinda get a grasp on things before i start trying to run 2 decks at once. Is Mirkwood doable solo? Or am I gonna need to get a second person or two hand it? Mirkwood is doable solo, but the final quest of the cycle will be extremely rough, but not quite as bad as the final quest of the core set. There's a mechanic that prevents you from playing certain types of cards while escorting, and solo means there is no other player to pass the victim so you can play that type of card.

Failboattootoot posted:I was wondering if any of the print on demand stuff on the FFG site has cards for players or if they are pure adventures. I'm more in this for the deck building aspect and don't really want to pick up something that is pure adventure. I am pretty sure that the print on demand stuff are just pure adventures with no player cards.

TheHoosier posted:I didn't. I was just saying I either didn't find them or found them at a tremendous mark-up. That tells me they're either out-of-print or a collector's item. I thought maybe the Nightmare Packs were just re-skins or re-prints. Just clarifying. Don't worry; I'm a dumb nerd with expensive hobbies but I'm not THAT dumb. FYI, CoolStuffInc.com has all the adventure packs with a few exceptions like The Hunt for Gollum and the Steward's fear, each for $9.99. Even with shipping, you'll save a bundle if you're looking for the adventure packs that way and live in the US. 750% markup, I would probably own the first 3 adventure packs and that's it.
