I'm so bummed out, I should have played on easy. It was awesome in the last games when you staggered enemies you felt so powerful. Go somewhere else, do sidequests, and suchforth. The game doesn't actually expect you to stick with one area at a time, and regular enemies in other areas are obviously weaker than bosses. Plus it'll give you a chance to get better weapons, costumes, accessories, attacks, and so on.
