apparently a pixel is not a little square

except cameras capture them as one, and lcd monitors show them as one, so i don't know why you'd make the distinction except to make the math easier, in a spherical cows sort of way

and i opened up wildlife.wmv from the sample videos folder with both vlc and this new thing

the colors were slightly different, but idk which are better colors nor what the proper colors should be
