It's weird really. DC seem to be trying overly hard to be the gritty mainstream comics line, but their big two heroes are both idealists who (in almost every incarnation) don't kill people. edit - I love Strange's "Hope. What are you, twelve?" stare in the last panel.

Strange in the early comics seemed to spend a lot of time bumbling through and invoking elder gods without knowing who or what they really were. The Ancient One was apparently a terrible teacher. And judge of character, what with the whole Baron Mordo thing. Thinking about it, the major practitioners of Magic in Marvel all seem somewhat dickish. Strange, Mordo, Doom, Druid...

It's a trial involving Captain America, in a universe where psychics exist, time-traveling nazis have been a regular feature, alien doppelgängers invaded in recent memory, and Reed Richards and his family are largely allowed to do as they please. Trying to determine any facts in the life of a prominent superhero is going to be an impossible task.

Light is not that fast. It would travel all of 300 metres in a microsecond. He was going an absurdly large multiple of lightspeed. Depending on how low "low yield" is, those people might get away with only being blind if they're looking at the explosion.
